Students watched a short video over the Declaration of Independence and then using pgs. 40-43, answered some questions about it.

Students will create their own Declaration of Independence. This is a Key Assessment.
Students learned about the Articles of Confederation and the Compromises that took place to make the Constitution. Use the scanned texts to help complete this assignment. Six Principles of the Constitution. Students did the Visual Vocabulary assignment with the Six Principles. Students use their definitions of the six principles of the Constitution to match up actual examples with each one. Students watched Episode 1 of "Constitution USA" and filled out a video guide.
